Terms & Conditions

The agreement between you and Leadzap when you use our service.

1. Agreement to terms

By creating an account or using Leadzap (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

"You" refers to the individual or business using Leadzap. "We", "us", and "Leadzap" refer to Al Mufaddal Computers, a sole proprietorship registered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

2. The service

Leadzap is a multi-tenant CRM and campaign manager that connects your business messaging channels in one place. It is built on the official WhatsApp Business Cloud API and the official Instagram messaging API (via Meta's Graph API). It lets businesses manage two-way customer conversations across WhatsApp and Instagram Direct, send approved templates, run bulk campaigns, set up auto-replies, segment contacts, and view analytics.

Instagram support lets you receive and reply to Direct Messages from customers who message your connected Instagram professional account, within the limits Meta imposes (including the 24-hour standard messaging window). Connecting an Instagram account is optional — WhatsApp can be used on its own.

Access is currently invite-only. We review every access request manually before granting accounts.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to enter agreements on behalf of your business.
  • You are responsible for keeping your email account secure — Leadzap login uses email-based one-time codes (OTP).
  • You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account, including by team members you invite.
  • You are responsible for the WhatsApp Business and Instagram accounts you connect, and for ensuring you are authorised to connect and operate them.
  • You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
  • You may not share your account or transfer it to anyone else.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Leadzap to:

  • Send unsolicited messages, spam, or messages to people who have not given you permission to contact them on WhatsApp or Instagram
  • Message Instagram users outside Meta's permitted messaging windows, or use Instagram messaging for bulk unsolicited outreach prohibited by Meta
  • Impersonate another business, person, or service
  • Send illegal, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or hateful content
  • Distribute malware, phishing links, or anything intended to deceive recipients
  • Violate intellectual property rights of any third party
  • Use Instagram profile data obtained through Leadzap for any purpose other than servicing the conversation, or attempt to collect, store, or repurpose data beyond what the connected account's customers have consented to
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service's infrastructure
  • Bypass rate limits, plan limits, or any technical restrictions of the Service
  • Resell, sublicense, or repackage the Service without our written consent

Important: if your usage of Leadzap causes Meta to take action against your WhatsApp Business number or Instagram account — such as restrictions, throttling, or bans — that's a direct consequence of how you used the Service, not Leadzap itself. Always comply with WhatsApp Business Policy and Instagram's Community Guidelines and Platform Terms.

5. WhatsApp & Instagram policy compliance

Leadzap operates on top of Meta's WhatsApp Business Cloud API and Instagram messaging API. By using Leadzap, you also agree to the following Meta terms and policies, as applicable to the channels you connect:

You are responsible for obtaining valid opt-in consent from every customer before messaging them through Leadzap, on both WhatsApp and Instagram. For Instagram, you may only message users within Meta's permitted messaging windows (such as the 24-hour window that opens when a customer messages your account). We may suspend your account if Meta flags policy violations originating from your usage.

6. Trial & billing

  • New approved accounts receive a 14-day free trial with up to 100 contacts and 100 messages.
  • The trial does not require a credit card and does not auto-convert to a paid plan.
  • After the trial, continuing to use Leadzap requires a paid plan. Pricing is discussed individually based on your usage and team size.
  • Payments are currently collected manually (bank transfer / UPI). Automated billing through Cashfree or Razorpay will be added in a future release.
  • All fees are exclusive of GST. We will issue a tax invoice for every payment.
  • WhatsApp conversation fees charged by Meta are separate from Leadzap subscription fees. You are responsible for those Meta charges directly through your own WhatsApp Business Account billing.
  • Refunds are not provided for partial months of paid usage. We may issue refunds at our discretion in cases of major service failure.

7. Data ownership

  • You own your data. Your contacts, messages, templates, media, and account configuration belong to you.
  • You can export your data to CSV at any time from the Leadzap interface.
  • We act as a data processor on your behalf — we use your data only to operate the Service, never for our own marketing or advertising.
  • Instagram message content and limited profile data (such as username and name) that we receive on your behalf are stored only to operate your inbox, and are deleted when you disconnect Instagram or close your account. See our Privacy Policy and Data Deletion page for details.
  • If you close your account, we delete your data within 90 days. Backups may persist briefly during normal rotation cycles.

8. Intellectual property

  • The Leadzap name, logo, code, design, and documentation are owned by Al Mufaddal Computers.
  • You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service while your account is active.
  • You retain all rights to the content (messages, media, templates) you create or upload using the Service.
  • You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and transmit your content solely as needed to deliver the Service.

9. Availability & support

  • We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be unavailable during maintenance, updates, or due to factors beyond our control (Meta API outages, AWS outages, internet failures, etc.).
  • Support is provided by email (saifuddin@almufaddal.com) and WhatsApp (+91 88287 12153) during business hours, Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 6 PM IST.
  • We do not currently offer 24×7 support, SLA-backed uptime, or guaranteed response times.

10. Termination

  • You can stop using Leadzap and request account closure at any time by contacting us.
  • You can disconnect your Instagram account at any time from Settings → Channels, which stops Leadzap from receiving further messages from that account.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the Service, or cause Meta to take action against the platform.
  • On termination, we provide reasonable opportunity to export your data before deletion.

11. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost business, or lost customer data.
  • We are not liable for actions taken by Meta against your WhatsApp Business number or Instagram account, including restrictions or bans resulting from your usage.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 3 months preceding the claim.

12. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Leadzap evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email to active users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date means you accept the updated terms.
